Parallels has rebranded its service provider business unit as Odin. The company’s cross-platform solutions unit will continue to operate as Parallels.

The cross-platform solutions unit will continue to provide the best cross-platform experience to millions of users of Parallels Desktop for Mac, Parallels Access and its other market leading products,” said Steen.

Odin, said Parallels, provides software that “powers the cloud ecosystem”, from small and local hosting firms to some of the world’s largest telecommunications providers. Odin provides web server management, server virtualisation, provisioning and billing automation systems.
