A10 Networks and RSA combine forces on SSL security
Through its RSA Ready Technology Partner Program, RSA has validated interoperability on A10’s Thunder Application Delivery Controller (ADC)
A10 Networks has collaborated with RSA to help increase SSL security capabilities for joint customers.
Through its RSA Ready Technology Partner Program, RSA has validated interoperability with A10’s Thunder Application Delivery Controller’s (ADC) SSL Insight feature, which allows RSA Security Analytics to inspect SSL and uncover hidden threats in encrypted traffic.
A10 is providing demos of its SSL Insight technology to RSA Conference 2015 attendees in San Francisco this week.
Security teams are tasked with combating increasing SSL bandwidth and complexity, including the lack of decryption support for SSL traffic. The A10 Thunder ADC is a load balancing solution that offers SSL Insight features such as URL classification. It also provides high performance SSL inspection to enable large enterprises to decrypt SSL traffic at rapid speeds.
As a result, Thunder ADC customers gain essential visibility into SSL traffic, allowing them to eliminate the SSL blind spot in corporate defences, detect advanced attacks, and scale RSA Security Analytics deployments with load balancing.

“If organisations do not inspect encrypted traffic, they’re losing visibility into a rapidly increasing portion of traffic,” said Jeff Wilson, an analyst at Infonetics Research. “As the total volume of encrypted traffic on the Internet crosses the 50 percent mark, companies need to seriously look at adding SSL inspection tools to their security arsenal.”
The RSA Ready Technology Partner Program has certified interoperability for more than 700 solutions across more than 300 organisations.
