Pulse Secure, a provider of access and mobile security solutions to enterprise and service providers, has announced details of its ongoing EMEA channel expansion strategy.

For the last year Pulse Secure has been executing a strategy to extend technical and pre-sales support to its partners and customers across the region.

Paul Donovan of Pulse SecureFrom new offices in the UK, Pulse Secure has appointed country managers in four key European countries as well as Dubai, and created a local language technical team to deliver true 24/7 multi-lingual mission critical support.

“The growth of trends such as BYOD, mobility and e-government has created strong demand for our secure access solutions from across the region,” said Paul Donovan (pictured), EMEA sales director at Pulse Secure.

“In the last few years, organisations have hastily deployed disparate point solutions and many are now finding these systems are unable to cope with the complex nature of security and access control as the number of users and devices keep growing.”

He said: “By offering a unified approach to access control, application security and BYOD management, this current transition offers Pulse Secure and our partners a great opportunity to help our customers solve their current challenges, and build a strong foundation for innovative new projects and use cases.”

The EMEA expansion includes the “imminent launch” of a new channel programme to support the company’s 500 partners across the region, with training courses in multiple locations and technical workshops for customers delivered by partners and the Pulse Secure regional team.

Pulse Secure technology is used by over 6,000 customers within EMEA. “We are still hiring more staff and working closely with our distribution partners to ensure that we have full coverage across the region,” said Donovan.

This July, Pulse Secure will release Pulse One, a central policy manager that enables secure access of all endpoint or mobile devices to corporate applications that may be located on-premise or in the cloud. Pulse One is designed to simplify management of enterprise access, policy and mobility.
