RingCentral joins Google Apps for Work programme

Google Hangouts, extra in-email features and video supported by unified cloud comms provider

RingCentral has been chosen as a partner and “trusted business communications solution” in the new Recommended for Google Apps for Work programme. RingCentral was considered on integration qualities and vetted by a third-party security firm on behalf of Google.

RingCentral’s integration with Gmail and other Google services provides joint users with a number of advantages, including the ability to click to call any phone number displayed in email, contacts, or calendar; sending and receiving SMS text messages while in Gmail; listening to voicemails directly within Gmail; and making making audio or video calls through RingCentral from a Gmail account.

Users can also invite up to 1,000 participants to a single Google Hangout with RingCentral conferencing.
