Cloud Distribution says it plans to recruit up to six specialist storage and virtualisation resellers
Cloud Distribution has announced an agreement with SystemFlip, the backup and disaster recovery specialist. SystemFlip eliminates the complexity of data protection in the enterprise with automated backup and disaster recovery, both on-site and off-site in a single product.
Cloud Distribution is SystemFlip’s first distributor in the UK and will help to expand the company’s presence by creating new sales opportunities and attracting new partners.
Cloud Distribution says it plans to recruit up to six specialist storage and virtualisation partners and demonstrate how SystemFlip can form the core of an enhanced data protection offering. The distributor will provide its virtual marketing services to partners that enable immediate go to market, a qualified pipeline and sales generation.
“Many organisations have invested heavily in backup and disaster recovery solutions, believing they are protected from data loss, but have little idea if their infrastructure and processes actually work or not. SystemFlip eliminates that uncertainty,” said Bruce Hockin, director of storage solutions at Cloud Distribution.
“SystemFlip offers resellers a significant business opportunity to challenge the effectiveness of customers’ and prospects’ existing solutions. It’s an attractive proposition that we’ll help and support partners take full advantage of.”
Simon Ponsford, managing director of SystemFlip, said: “Until now, effective backup and disaster recovery has required system integration and significant professional services to fail over and recover back from serious IT issues.
“SystemFlip handles all of the off-site disaster recovery and the 24-hour support that demands. SystemFlip’s multi-year data storage solves system recovery issues that are commonplace with legacy products.”
Last month, Cloud Distribution announced an agreement with Check Point Software Technologies in mobile security. Check Point Mobile Threat Prevention blocks mobile threats on iOS and Android devices and delivers real-time threat intelligence to organisations.
