intY announces global launch for cloud platform Cascade

Software as a Service specialist intY has launched its new global cloud aggregation platform, Cascade, to help resellers and vendors to market.

Cascade is billed as a new type of cloud control panel platform, that lets any companies easily buy or sell services with users able to drag and drop like an app store.

The aim of the platform is to provide more streamlined services through the channel, with bundled cloud offerings meaning just one bill for end users.

Speaking to ChannelBiz ahead of its launch, intY CEO Chris Baldock described it as a “true ecosystem where application vendors and partners are able to buy and sell from each other, either the applications or products.“

For the channel, intY believes that Cascade will offer an increase in agility to quickly identify and pursue new markets and margins.

As  well as targeting large service providers, smaller companies which have previously been unable to supply to bigger firms will also benefit from Cascade’s services.  As Baldock says, “cloud takes away prohibiting factors” and means that through Cascade it will be easier to approach larger firms, essentially opening up new whole new areas of the market.

Cascade will offer a wide range of Microsoft products for example, with intY one of only 30 firms to obtain syndication status for Microsoft Online Services, as well as security through Symantec.

In the UK Cascade has already been up and running for 12 months working with 60 service providers.   Ahead of its launch in the US today, Baldock heralded it as a “British success story”, that is already working with major multinationals using its innovative approach.

Following 35 percent growth in the UK last year, today is the platform’s relaunch on a “global scale”.

Key features of the service include its interoperability, being hosted on Microsoft Azure it can host almost any cloud service intY says.  Branded storefronts mean that partners can also create more personalised services for their customers .
