Salesforce buys ChoicePass

Salesforce has acquired ChoicePass.

The Enterprise perks management platform, which was started a  year ago and so far raised $250,000 in seed funding, has said that its staff will be joining the Salesforce team, while its site and operations will cease by the end of the month.

Although terms of the acquisition haven’t been made public, ChoicePass said in a statement earlier this week that: “We started ChoicePass with a vision to change the way organisations reward their employees. Since launching our Perks product, we’ve found that there is massive demand from businesses for innovative ways to manage employee engagement, rewards and incentives. It has been an amazing experience for us to work with such great companies, partners and of course, people.”

It said its team would be joining Salesforce and the companies shared the same vision and passion for “employee recognition, as well as entrepreneurial spirit.”

“It’s a huge opportunity for us to pursue our passions on a much larger scale, and with a company that is helping businesses meet the challenge of the social revolution with its social enterprise solution,” it added.

ChoicePass will cease its operations and will shut down the ChoicePass website on Saturday June 30, 2012.
