Thales announces winners for EMEA sales and revenue awards

Thales has heralded the channel players who have outperformed in a set of awards for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The provider of data encryption and cyber security services has recognised the gold certified level partners that churned the highest sales in the past 12 months during its 2012 EMEA Channel Partner Conference, which took place earlier this week in Cyprus.

The company claims that it works closely with its partners to design, market and deliver innovative and security products, tools and programs that enable businesses to protect and manage their critical business assets.

It said its Partner Programme ensured that Thales services and products “integrated seamlessly” with leading applications and hardware, adding that through the support of resellers and system integrators, its portfolio of data protection, key management and payment transaction hardware security platforms have met the security needs of organisations in different verticals across the globe.

Presenting the awards John Stephens, vice president global sales, Thales e-Security, said the company’s partner programme was an essential element of Thales e-Security’s ongoing growth and success.

“It is designed to support and reward our partners who are continually developing their security expertise, as well as driving new sales opportunities,” he added.

The 2012 Thales EMEA Channel Partner Award winners were Wick Hill, which was awarded EMEA Distributor of the Year 2012, while DNA Distribution was given the EMEA New Business Distributor of the Year 2012 title.

The Northern Europe Reseller of the Year 2012 was Avensus, while ALTAIR-775 was awarded Eastern Europe Reseller of the Year 2012.

The Defence and Government Reseller of the Year 2012 was awarded to P&C Communications.
