ReadSoft Automates Account Payments With Microsoft Dynamics

Businesses that delay payments to suppliers will have to think up a new excuse for late payment, because software inventor ReadSoft has created an automated accounts payable (AP) system that should accelerate B2B cash flow. This week it announced a new level of integration with Microsoft Dynamics to run on Microsoft Azure.

The fusion of the two systems gives Microsoft Dynamics users access to a secure cloud for accounts payable, the vendor claimed. ReadSoft AP automation for cloud also runs on Azure and provides constant access to invoice data, said the vendor.

Cheque in cloud

End-users in accounts will also benefit from immediate start-up, minimal IT involvement and lower AP processing times and costs, claimed ReadSoft.

The cloud product was designed with the Microsoft Dynamics end-user in mind, said ReadSoft CEO Per Åkerberg, as the enterprise resource planning systems needs tweaking for cloud usage. He invited Microsoft Dynamics users to network with ReadSoft solution experts and learn the latest best practices and resolutions. “Their needs are evolving,” he said.

Organisations can free themselves from the costs of a server, software, and hardware maintenance by processing invoices in the cloud. The error-prone work of entering invoice information can also be eliminated because invoices become available online for verification and approval within moments of arrival, the company said.

ReadSoft, a member of Microsoft’s Managed ISV partner programme, invited UK resellers to join its Microsoft partner network. ReadSoft’s global partner team is looking for recruits to sell its Azure-based AP automation solution in the cloud, said Åkerberg.
