TalkTalk Puts CloudSense First For Salesforce CRM

Cloud integrator CloudSense is helping telco TalkTalk Business to install Salesforce‘s customer relationship management software in a bid to improve its customer relations.

TalkTalk Business is targeting the broadband and telephony market for small and midsized businesses, with new ISDN Complete Call packages for firms with between five and 50 employees, using IP phone system from Avaya or Mitel, which come with features including built-in voicemail and conference calling. With prices starting at £39 per month it claims to be 50 percent cheaper than BT’s equivalent service.

Positive experience

Phil Haslam, operations director at TalkTalk Business, explained why the company needed to improve its relationship with customers: “CloudSense is enabling us to add new modules, giving our teams the tools to sell more effectively. We’re confident that customers, new and old, will experience the positive effects of the change we’re making.”

TalkTalk Business opted for Salesforce as it wanted easy integration with existing systems, said Haslam. But it wanted to expand and CloudSense’s experience with telcos meant it would he an expert guide.

TalkTalk’s sales processes needed streamlining and its admin was time-intensive said Richard Britton, CloudSense CEO. Now sales teams will be able to spend more time selling, he said. “The new service and marketing platforms will boost customer service levels and enable TalkTalk to attract new business customers,” said Britton.

CloudSense is a Salesforce platinum partner.

TalkTalk recently drafted ex-Facebook executive Joanna Shields to its board to advise on its growth strategy.
