Arcserve hires Nordics sales manager to help meet demand

Storage and backup recovery software provider Arcserve is hiring a sales manager for the Nordics to meet growing demand in the region.

It has appointed Henrik Jalsborn (pictured) to the post. He will be responsible for contributing to the company’s Nordic sales strategy and increasing Arcserve’s offer to the channel for both existing and new customers.

The appointment reinforces Arcserve’s drive to strengthen its presence in the Nordic region, especially following the divestiture from CA and the resulting agility that the company now enjoys in terms of product roadmap and business strategy,” said Arcserve.

Jalsborn joins from Evault, where he spent more than two years as Nordics channel sales manager. His career, which spans over 15 years and includes him starting up, developing and managing the Acronis Scandinavian sales team, means that he has a deep understanding of the Nordic market, Arcserve said.

Arcserve Northern Europe sales director Giovanni Goduti said: “Henrik is the perfect choice for this role. He has repeatedly proven that he can turn his knowledge of the market and of the technology into tangible results.

In addition, his energy, drive and passion are in line with what we as a new company are all about. I am confident that Henrik will take Arcserve’s presence in the Nordics to the next level and continue to really drive our growth across the region.”

Jalsborn said: “The unique Arcserve portfolio is perfectly positioned to help our partners meet the increasingly complex needs of their customers through one unified solution. No other vendor can offer the same value proposition with one product today, and I’m hugely excited to work with the Arcserve team to drive growth across the Nordic region.”
