HP appoints new channel head

HP has appointed a new channel head for the UK, with Paul Boshoff moving from New Zealand to fulfil the role.

Boshoff (pictured) is currently general manager of HP’s Printing and Personal Systems business in New Zealand, where he is responsible for driving the strategies for all personal computing related products, including desktop computers, notebooks and pocket PCs.

As part of this role, Boshoff oversees HP’s interactions with its channel partners. Originally from South Africa, Boshoff has worked in a number of roles within the technology sector, including Dell Computers and Compaq in South Africa, prior to positions at HP South Africa and then HP New Zealand.

Boshoff is expected to take the HP channel reins in the UK this summer.
