Arrow wins NetApp UK partner marketing award

Arrow Electronics was the winner of Marketing Excellence at the recent 2015 NetApp UK & Ireland Partner Awards, held at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.

In its ninth year, the NetApp awards recognise “outstanding achievements” from within the NetApp UK & Ireland partner community. Awards are presented to partners who “significantly support” customers in their efforts to “take their businesses to the next level”.

The Marketing Excellence award recognised the achievements of Arrow’s Ideal Data Centre programme, “which created numerous opportunities” and “closed several deals for NetApp channel partners”.

This approach to demand generation has helped customers across the UK achieve their own Ideal Data Centre. It combined “original thinking with a strong creative approach” through a mix of social media, direct mail, specialised events and telemarketing, said NetApp.

Alison Dennett (pictured), senior marketing manager for Northern EMEA at NetApp, said: “Strong evidence of ROI over a period of time demonstrated the programme’s strength and success in the industry. It was fantastic to see that Arrow offers a packaged demand-generation programme to their partners that leverages this successful model.”

NetApp recently held its annual Partner Executive Forum in Warsaw, where it set out its commitment to selling more all-flash arrays.
