Sharp Visual Solutions hires senior product manager

Sharp Europe has appointed Christopher Parker as senior product manager for its Visual Solutions business.

Parker will manage the development and marketing of Sharp’s portfolio of Visual Solutions products, actively supporting sales teams and channels across Europe.

The appointment “demonstrates Sharp’s continuing investment in its market-leading business display products”, and its “commitment to bringing devices to market which meet the needs of European users”, said Sharp.

Parker said: “This is an exciting time to join Sharp. Our product portfolio includes truly innovative interactive large format displays, which have the power to make meetings more productive and presentations more collaborative.”

Parker previously had 15 years of senior product management experience at NEC. Sharp said Parker will be responsible for developing marketing programmes and strategies for all upcoming products, and ensuring that Sharp’s sales teams receive the support they need to effectively sell products to dealers and customers.
