Cloud Distribution pushes Check Point mobile security

Cloud Distribution has announced an agreement with Check Point Software Technologies in mobile security. Check Point Mobile Threat Prevention blocks mobile threats on iOS and Android devices and delivers real-time threat intelligence to organisations.

We’re seeing many enterprises looking beyond mobile device management (MDM) solutions to gain additional mobile security functionality – we believe Checkpoint’s Mobile Threat Prevention solution is the perfect fit for these organisations,” said Adam Davison, product and marketing director at Cloud Distribution.

As part of the distribution agreement, Cloud Distribution will also have access to the complete Check Point portfolio to support mobile security activity.

With the continued rise in security breaches, we’re experiencing tremendous demand for our Mobile Threat Prevention solution as enterprises know they need to act quickly to secure mobile devices from threats and secure data and documents on mobile devices,” said Michael Wakefield, head of channel sales UK and Ireland at Check Point.

Cloud Distribution match our ambition to expand our footprint in the UK and based on their proven track record we have every confidence they will succeed. They have extensive knowledge of the mobile security market, with complementary vendors and products in their portfolio, and a renowned ability to support partners to create end user opportunities.”

Check Point is also investing in a dedicated overlay specialist sales and SE team to assist partners with opportunities for the Mobile Threat Prevention offering.
