Capita wins Scottish public sector pensions IT contract

Capita Employee Benefits has been appointed by the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) to deliver its integrated pensions IT software solution.

The scope of the contract is to implement and support an integrated pensions administration, payroll and digital services software solution for the Agency, which administers pension schemes for the National Health Service, teachers, police and firefighters in Scotland.

This is the latest win north of the border for Capita. Last month, the University of the Highlands and Islands joined the Scottish Wide Area Network (SWAN), a single public services network for the use of all public service organisations within Scotland. SWAN is being delivered through a framework contract with Capita IT Enterprise Services.
