Talon sharpens up for another growth year

Talon says its expanded channel reach over the last 12 months has led to “record growth”, as resellers tapped into its Microsoft Azure connectivity to deliver application performance and intelligent file caching solutions for distributed enterprise infrastructures.

Talon said 2015 was a year of “numerous customer wins, new partnerships, strong numbers and record growth at the level of over 400 percent”.

Shirish Phatak, CEO of Talon, said: “With our growing relationship with Microsoft we have continued to cultivate our distribution and reseller programmes globally, and we continue to solve the issue around distributed file storage and provide a seamless file collaboration experience for the enterprise.”

Talon established and completed multiple agreements with new value added resellers in the UK, EMEA and US, including SoftwareONE, OCSL, Synergics, SMS, Nephos, Sol-Tec, Inframon, Dot-NET, SoftwareLogic, VDX, Nimbo and 10thMagnitude.

The Talon Channel Programme continues to focus on the convergence of file optimisation, collaboration and centralisation to the Azure Cloud, “giving resellers a way to tap into these rapidly growing markets and accelerate their businesses and profitability”, said Talon.

Last year, the New Jersey headquartered firm hired a new UK sales director, and it operates sales operations centres in Amsterdam, Boston, New York, Irvine, CA, Dallas and London.

Andrew Mullen, SVP sales at Talon, said: “We love what we have been doing with our technology and feel confident about the relationships we have cultivated this year.

Having displaced several competitors, we know that we are well positioned for a robust 2016 with installations and relationships at an unprecedented level.”
