Sage Live unveiled for Apple’s iOS

Sage has announced a version of Sage Live only available on iOS. As a new Apple mobility partner, this will be the first in a series of solutions that Apple and Sage are collaborating together on for small businesses.

The new Sage Live for iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch will deliver real time business management and “improve efficiency and effectiveness” across the entire supply chain for small and medium business users, said Sage.

Sage Live will be sold through Apple’s ecosystem. Alan Laing, EVP global strategic partnerships and alliances at Sage, said: “Mobile and cloud technology is revolutionising the way small and medium businesses work, giving real-time decision making for the first time ever, reducing costs and democratising access to business management tools.

iOS is the leading mobile platform for business users and we are deepening our commitment to iOS by delivering our new Sage Live solution for iOS that provides simple, insightful accounting and payment services to small and medium sized businesses.”

At the end of last year, Sage said it was “simplifying, harmonising and globalising” its partner relationships with its new Global Partner Programme. Sage said its streamlined programme will provide its partners with “enhanced benefits and incentives”.

The Global Partner Programme introduced a simplified four-tiered engagement model for partners, including SI’s, resellers, VARs, ISV’s and developers.
