CMS Distribution to offer full AVG business security suite

CMS Distribution has enhanced its security solutions portfolio for SMEs by becoming UK distributor for AVG Business security solutions.

CMS Distribution will provide the full AVG Business product portfolio, including AVG’s cloud security and remote monitoring and management (RMM) solutions for SMEs, directly to its network of partners.

“Last year, CMS Distribution started building a comprehensive security portfolio. As the market moves towards mobility and cloud technologies and there is an ever growing importance for data security, a partnership with a leading cloud security brand like AVG made total sense for us,” said Justin Griffiths, group director, software solutions at CMS Distribution.

CMS Distribution entered the security market last year, forming partnerships with AlienVault, Barracuda Networks, iSheriff and The Bunker.

“With a base of more than 3,000 channel partners, including the top VARs in the UK, CMS Distribution not only shares our commitment to helping businesses prioritise security, but brings the go-to-market capabilities to sell our full stack of AVG Business cloud security and managed services solutions,” said Fred Gerritse, general manager at AVG Technologies.

CMS Distribution serves 60 manufacturers and 3,000 resellers via locations in Castleford, Harrogate, London and Ireland.
