NetApp is Lisbon bound for annual partners conference

NetApp has announced that its annual Partner Executive Forum will take place in Lisbon on 6-8 June.

As in previous years, the invitation-only event will bring together NetApp executives and its top partners in EMEA to discuss NetApp’s vision as a business, as well as to “generate collaborative discussion on product and channel strategy for FY17”, said NetApp. The company’s new financial year begins in May 2016.

The three day forum will feature a range of sessions hosted by senior NetApp and partner executives, including solution breakouts. One of these sessions will cover how NetApp’s recent acquisition of SolidFire complements its existing product offering, advising partners on positioning the extended portfolio to their customers.

As in previous years, the NetApp EMEA Partner Excellence Awards will take place at the event, which will recognise the efforts of partners across a range of categories.

Thomas Ehrlich, NetApp vice president global accounts and pathway ecosystem EMEA, said: “We truly value our partners and the great work they do. At our annual Partner Executive Forum we look to recognise the contributions and achievements of our strongest partners in EMEA, while offering them some practical advice and insight into what to expect from us in the year ahead.”

Earlier this week, NetApp announced the appointment of Henri Richard as executive vice president of worldwide field and customer operations. He succeeds Rob Salmon, who is retiring following more than 22 years at the company.
