Greenbone appoints Khipu as first UK ‘Excellent’ partner

Greenbone Networks, the vulnerability management solutions firm, has announced a new partnership with Khipu Networks. Khipu joins the Greenbone “4 in 1” partner programme, which offers four different partner levels, and one distributor level.

Greenbone, which is headquartered in Osnabrueck, Germany, was recently brought to the UK by distributor Exclusive Networks.

Khipu Networks delivers a wide range of networking, Wi-Fi and security solutions. As Greenbone’s first Excellent Partner in the UK, Khipu Networks will offer Greenbone’s vulnerability management solutions – having undertaken Greenbone’s intensive training programme – to complement its cyber security offering.

Matt Ashman, sales director of Khipu Networks, said: “Greenbone’s Security Manager solution should be part of everyone’s strategy as it complements all elements of a security infrastructure such as next-gen firewalls, IPS/ISD etc.

We believe that our customers will benefit from Greenbone’s vulnerability management platform which is now an integral part of our cyber security service offering.”

Dirk Schrader, CMO at Greenbone, said: “We are delighted to start our UK business with a qualified partner like Khipu Networks. The company perfectly fits with our approach, considering that a high security level cannot be achieved with products alone, but only with a thoroughly implemented solution. We are looking forward to our common projects.”

UK resellers and distributors are being invited to join the “4 in 1” Greenbone partner programme. It encompasses four partner levels with Authorised, Advanced, Excellent and Distinguished levels on offer.
