Dimension Data replaces group CEO with current COO

Dimension Data has a new group CEO after previous incumbent Brett Dawson “stepped down” after 12 years, said the NTT-owned company.

He is being replaced by group chief operating officer Jason Goodall with “immediate effect”. Goodall has been with DiData for 18 years.

Jeremy Ord, executive chairman of the Dimension Data Group, said: “Brett has delivered extraordinary growth for our company over the last 12 years, quadrupling our revenues to $8bn, helping us globalise and leading our transition into being part of the NTT family.”

Goodall said: “We see many opportunities for growth across both the Dimension Data Group as well as the wider NTT Group.

“I’m honoured and thrilled to be stepping up to this opportunity and look forward to working with our clients, partners and employees in the near future.”

Dawson’s departure was preceded by the March exit of UK managing director Calvin Goom, a post that was filled at the global integrator/VAR this month by Barney Taylor.
