arvato to hire 100 service staff to support BMW contract

Outsourcing firm arvato is hiring an extra 100 people as a result of its recently won service contract with BMW Group UK.

Over 100 local job opportunities will be on offer at a recruitment fair at the company next week. The event will take place at arvato’s Slough headquarters on Farnham Road between 2pm and 8pm on Wednesday 20 July.

The event will offer the chance for candidates to find out more about the customer service, financial services consultation, retailer interaction, administration and team leadership roles available. Candidates will undertake initial assessment interviews.

There’s no need to register in advance, however candidates are being advised to bring their up-to-date CV.

The majority of the roles will be based at arvato’s offices on Farnham Road, with a small group located at the BMW Group UK offices in nearby Farnborough.

The company secured a five-year partnership with BMW earlier this year to provide customer support for the group’s BMW, MINI, Alphera and Motorrad brands.

Matt Forrest, recruitment business partner at arvato, said: “We’re looking for people who are passionate about delivering great customer service, and ideally have some previous experience in this area.”

He said: “Candidates should be good at prioritising tasks, excited about developing their knowledge about BMW’s brands and products, and able to build great relationships with customers and team members.”
