Retarus comms revenues driven by international growth

Messaging services firm the Retarus Group grew its business almost 14 percent for the year ending 31 May, with turnover reaching €49.7 million.

Strategic partnerships with systems integrators and carriers, as well as more international business, helped the firm on its way.

In the US, the company achieved 44.3 percent growth in turnover. Within Europe, the increase in turnover for FY 2016 was 8.5 percent.

In order to meet ever-higher customer requirements and expectations for security, data protection and compliance the company opened a new data centre in Frankfurt, and the data centres in Switzerland and Chicago were expanded.

Johannes Hecker, chief operating officer for the Retarus Group, said: “These positive business results reaffirm our strategy for long-term growth.

“An increasing number of global leaders from all industries and sectors are putting their faith in our cloud services and benefiting from our global delivery network for their business-critical communications.”

Customers of the German-headquartered group include Adidas, Bayer, Continental, DHL, Honda, Puma, Sixt, Sony and Thomas Cook.
