Foresite forges SME security partnership with Check Point

Security consulting firm Foresite is partnering with Check Point to provide small firms with “competitively priced information security solutions”.

“Many small businesses have a false sense of security where highly publicised data breaches do not appear to apply to them,” said Marc Brungardt, president at Foresite.

“However, the reality is that 71 percent of recent data breaches affect small businesses. These companies are easy targets because they lack the resources and expertise to defend themselves on their own.”

Brungardt said the partnership with Check Point combines “advanced technology with people, process and expertise” to deliver a complete security solution that “turns the table on the criminals”.

The solution provides round the clock security monitoring and management of small firms’ critical IT infrastructure.

Aviv Abramovich, principal product manager, Check Point, said: “Check Point is committed to working with partners like Foresite to jointly offer comprehensive advanced threat prevention appliances and software, to help protect small business customer networks from unnecessary exposure.”
