500 Startups, one of the most active global early stage venture capital firms, is hosting its popular PreMoney conference in Miami on December 1st, 2021. The in-person, one-day event will gather LPs, fund managers, investors and angels to discuss disruptive strategies, models and technologies in venture capital.

Since 2013, PreMoney has served as a forum for more than 2,000 investors in cities like San Francisco, Miami and Hong Kong to make connections and learn about the latest industry insights. Notable speakers have included Ann Miura-Ko (Floodgate), Aileen Lee (Cowboy Ventures), Marc Andreessen (Andreessen Horowitz), Charles Hudson (Precursor Ventures), Miriam Rivera (Ulu Ventures), Aydin Senkut (Felicis Ventures), Mark Suster (Upfront) and Hans Tung (GGV Capital).

“We are thrilled to be able to gather once again in person, and offer investors a platform to network and gain valuable insights in a post-Covid-19 world,” says Christine Tsai, CEO and Founding Partner of 500 Startups.

An early believer in the city’s diverse innovation ecosystem, 500 is bringing PreMoney for the second time to Miami. The firm has maintained a presence in the city since 2015, when it first ran a growth accelerator program for startups. It later partnered with the Miami Downtown Development Authority, the City of Miami, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, and Visa to operate its signature founder bootcamps and VC Unlocked programs.

Founders who graduated from the programs report employing more than 600 people, creating upwards of an estimated $22 million in local economic impact to date.
