Accelerate Learning, makers of the award-winning STEMscopes™ preK-12 suite of STEM solutions, was named the winner of the “Overall STEM Education Solution Provider of the Year” award in the 2019 EdTech Breakthrough Awards.
The EdTech Breakthrough Awards showcase technologies and companies that drive innovation and exemplify the best in educational technology solutions around the globe. This year’s program attracted more than 1,500 nominations, which were evaluated by an independent panel of edtech industry experts. The winning products and companies were selected based on innovation, design, and user-experience, as well as overall technological advancement for their respective categories.

The award highlights a period of significant growth for Accelerate Learning and its STEM curriculum and professional development solutions, which are used by more than 4.5 million students and 400,000 teachers. Since 2018, the company has released innovative new solutions including STEMscopes NGSS 3D, STEMscopes Science Powered by CNN, and STEMscopes Streaming with BBC Learning. Its science curriculum solutions have been adopted in states including California, New Mexico, and Mississippi. Further, studies in states such as Texas, Oregon, Alabama, and Rhode Island show that students who use STEMscopes have higher passing rates on state science assessments. In addition, Accelerate Learning and its solutions and leaders have been named finalists or winners in numerous awards programs in 2018 and 2019, including the American Business Awards®, EdTech Awards, and SIIA CODiE Awards.
