ADTRAN Board Members Recognized as WomenInc.’s 2019 Most Influential Corporate Board Directors

ADTRAN®, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), a leading provider of next-generation open networking and subscriber experience solutions, today announced two members of its corporate board, Kathryn Walker and Jacqueline Rice, have been named as WomenInc.s 2019 Most Influential Corporate Board Directors.

WomenInc. showcases the outstanding achievements of professional women and is dedicated to driving a positive dialogue on and about women. The annual Most Influential Corporate Board Directors recognition focuses on women’s contributions to corporate boards as well as companies who make continuous efforts to embrace diversity.

Kathryn Walker has served ADTRAN’s board since 2014, and is concurrently serving as CTO at Main Street Data, as a managing director for OpenAir Equity Partners. Prior to joining OpenAir, Ms. Walker has served as Chief Information and Chief Network Officer at Sprint Nextel Corporation. Additionally, she currently serves on the board of directors for SmartHome Ventures, on the Council of Trustees at South Dakota State University, as the President of the Board of Trustees at Missouri University of Science and Technology and as a member of the board of directors of the Heartland Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Ms. Walker is a National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Board Leadership Fellow.

Jacqueline Rice has served on ADTRAN’s board since 2016, and also currently serves as Herman Miller Incorporated’s General Counsel. Before joining Herman Miller, Ms. Rice served as Principal of RH Associates, a global consulting firm providing legal, risk and compliance advisory services. Prior to RH Associates, she served as Target’s Corporation’s EVP and chief risk and compliance officer; as chief compliance officer and legal counsel for General Motors; and as General Motors’ Executive Director and Global Ethics and Compliance.
