The Volume, the podcast network founded by sports media personality Colin Cowherd with iHeartMedia, announced today the hiring of Alabama starting quarterback Bryce Young as a host and contributor to the network. In a unique arrangement, Young will co-host his weekly podcast, The Bryce Young Podcast, with Jake Crain, host of The Volume’s The Jboy Show, every Tuesday throughout the college football season.

“There is no brand in college football bigger than Alabama and there is no position more celebrated than quarterback,” said Cowherd. “We feel privileged that Bryce will be joining us each week on The Volume to give his perspective from the epicenter of college football. This will be a must-listen for any college football fan.”

“I have great respect for Colin and his content has always been informative and entertaining,” said Young. “This podcast is an opportunity to bring Alabama and college football fans closer to the action each week. And with Jboy as my co-host, I’m confident we’ll deliver the same kind of informative and entertaining conversation that has always defined Colin’s content.”

The Bryce Young Podcast is the second Volume podcast to feature active college athletes since the NCAA announced its new name, image, and likeness (NIL) policy in June. In August, The Volume launched Inside The Garage, a show featuring Notre Dame football players Kyle Hamilton, Cam Hart, Conor Ratigan and KJ Wallace. Inside The Garage airs every Monday through Notre Dame’s season.
