This new role was created to build on the tremendous success and market interest that surrounds the company’s next-generation Smart Account solution experience, which leverages artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to take the guesswork out of healthcare saving and spending decisions and to help consumers get the best value for their healthcare dollars. Waterstraat will be charged with building new, high-impact initiatives within Alegeus, and he will have executive ownership of future acquisitions that drive strategy and enhanced capabilities to unlock incremental savings and economic value for consumers.

He also served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product at RevSpring and as an advisor and consultant to health and fintech private equity firms.
