Altimetrik has promoted Raj Sundaresan to Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2020. Raj Vattikuti, Founder and CEO, will take on the role of Executive Chairman. Sundaresan has served as Altimetrik’s Chief Operating Officer since 2017 and will continue to work closely with Vattikuti to serve the growing number of businesses pursuing digitalization.

Recent events have been a tipping point for business and digital transformation across industries, accelerating the trend in the use of digital services and highlighting supply chain issues. Mid-size organizations in particular are looking to more effectively run their business and realize growth in revenue, profit, and cash with speed and agility. Altimetrik, a pure-play business and digital transformation company, has already grown revenue 25 percent in 2020 as it helps financial services, CPG, pharma, automotive, and healthcare customers achieve their business outcomes. With the continued surge in demand for business and digital transformation, Altimetrik is well positioned to grow at least 30 percent annually in the coming years.

Altimetrik’s incremental and iterative approach stands in contrast to the type of big bang strategies, where companies leap ahead with new technology only to realize they aren’t prepared to take advantage of it. With this approach, Altimetrik has helped clients better anticipate customer demand, optimize supply chains, simplify workflows, pivot business models, launch new products, grow revenue, and control costs.

“Altimetrik is very focused in leveraging companies’ data to realize specific business outcomes in an incremental and iterative approach within a short duration,” said Ram Charan, world-renowned business advisor, author, and speaker. “This approach clearly debunks the myth that digitalization is very expensive and takes multiple years.”

In addition, Altimetrik employs engineering teams of practitioners who focus on execution and work with each customer’s business and technology teams to develop pointed solutions with measurable business outcomes. In recent months, Altimetrik’s practitioners have developed 25 pointed solutions across demand, supply chain, financial planning, and forecasting initiatives. These pointed solutions and Altimetrik’s continued investment in innovation strongly position it as a partner of choice. This approach also paves the path for Altimetrik’s non-linear growth.

Altimetrik’s practitioners are a global team of creative problem solvers, empowered with development tools that expand their skills and horizons. The company’s cloud-based integrated digital platform allows employees to rapidly develop, test, and deploy solutions for clients. It accelerates outcomes by enforcing consistent engineering rigor, quality, and reusability, enabling frictionless services like product and platform engineering, data and advanced analytics, and DevOps and cloud engineering.

“Digitalization has never been more urgent, and Altimetrik is well positioned to help enterprises rapidly accelerate their business and digital transformation,” said Sundaresan. “In the last few months, we’ve seen a lot of demand from medium and large enterprises looking to accelerate digitalization. There has been CEO-level engagement from these enterprises as they have recognized the strengths of our incremental approach. Raj Vattikuti will continue to be fully involved, working with these clients to kick-start their business and digital transformation, as well as coaching and developing practitioners to innovate pointed solutions. Working with Raj and the rest of the Altimetrik team, I want to empower more businesses to harness the value of their data, simplify their workflows, and unlock their next phase of growth.”

Raj Sundaresan has more than two decades of experience heading up product engineering at fintech organizations, including Visa and PayPal. As COO of Altimetrik, he has established product engineering and business development rigor that has fueled the company’s growth and profitability. He has recently overseen the global expansion of the company, including several new offices in India, Europe, Asia, and the Americas. In his new role as CEO, Sundaresan will assume greater responsibility for Altimetrik’s finances, marketing, sales, and strategic operations as well as further positioning the company as the digitalization partner of choice for clients.

“Raj Sundaresan is a great friend and partner,” said Vattikuti. “We’ve worked together for the past 20 years to build technology solutions and achieve business outcomes. For the last three and a half years as our COO, he has been relentless in achieving results in talent acquisition, product engineering, business operations, and developing customer relationships. Most importantly, he has grown revenue, profits, and cash. He’s ready to take on the CEO position and supplement and complement my strategic role in building on our success.”

Vattikuti, who founded Altimetrik, will work as Executive Chairman to develop strategic client relationships, explore new markets, and establish new industry focuses. He will focus much of his time on interacting with CEOs and CFOs to create road maps and short cycles for priority business outcomes. Together with Sundaresan, Vattikuti will help the company advance to its next stage of growth and profitability.

“The advancement of Raj Vattikuti to Executive Chairman and the promotion of Raj Sundaresan to CEO is a logical step for the next phase of Altimetrik’s growth,” said Jac Nasser, prominent business executive, philanthropist, and member of Altimetrik’s board. “The Vattikuti and Sundaresan team provides a magic mix of broad sector experience, track record, innovation, and partnership. Altimetrik is exactly what companies need to rapidly convert ideas into revenue and earnings growth. The Altimetrik team helps to facilitate this growth opportunity for the benefit of consumers, employees, and companies.”

Altimetrik continues to invest in providing employees with a great experience, including tools and platforms that enable them to work remotely without any productivity loss. That culture of continuous learning and supporting employees as they become practitioners has boosted employee engagement scores and played a role in Altimetrik being named among Great Places to Work in both the U.S. and India.
