The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) and Brightspot today announced the completion of a major project to launch the AJGA’s Salesforce database to better reach and inform the organization’s national and growing audiences.
With Brightspot serving as the presentation layer for the newly developed Salesforce database, the AJGA’s modernized CRM platform can now more quickly and effectively launch digital experiences to better accomplish its strategic goals to support the growth and development of young men and women and help them earn college golf scholarships through competitive tournaments.
“For over a decade, we had been building a home-grown SQL database that would grow to manage over 8,000+ players and coaching members and 200 tournaments and qualifiers around the country,” said Mark Oskarson, Chief Operating Officer, American Junior Golf Association. “While this worked for us for a while, it was not able to scale with our own growth and began to make it difficult for us to accomplish our mission to reach young golfers. With the help of Brightspot, we have developed a more satisfying user experience for our golfers, developed a powerful recruiting tool for college coaches to find and connect with the right players for their programs, and added efficiencies to streamline administrative tasks for our internal teams.”
Today’s announcement completes the AJGA’s long-term transformation mission, which began in 2018. With these latest updates, Brightspot is powering a better registration and logged-in experience which will help users quickly complete tasks and enhance their perception of the AJGA as a modern and innovative organization.
