AnitaB.org,
the non-profit social enterprise committed to increasing the
representation of women technologists in the global workforce and host
of the global AnitaB.org Grace Hopper Celebration events, the largest
gatherings of women technologists in the world, today announced the
opening of its new global headquarters in Belmont, California.

The new headquarters located off of U.S. 101 between San Francisco and
Silicon Valley features a state-of-the-art women’s technology training
and conference center available to allied organizations. AnitaB.org made
the move to better support its growing team and ambitious goal of
spurring the industry to reach 50/50 gender parity in technology by
2025. The space will serve as a home-base for the women technologists
and corporate clients AnitaB.org works with and supports every day and
will better position the nonprofit to lead the global Women’s Tech
Equity Movement.

“This new Global Tech Center Headquarters will position AnitaB.org to
influence the women’s tech equity movement to reach 50/50 by 2025
male/female gender parity,” said Brenda Darden Wilkerson, President and
CEO of AnitaB.org. “AnitaB.org will serve as a model for women, allies,
and institutions to aspire to accelerate the pace of change and make
tech richly diverse.”

While the AnitaB.org team already occupies its new office space at the
new HQ, the new Tech Center is currently under renovation. The new space
will open in the fall and provide clients, customers and allied
organizations a place to interact and understand the Women’s Tech Equity
Movement.

AnitaB.org’s new headquarters is located at 1301 Shoreway Road, Belmont
CA Suite 425.
