Gartner Security & Risk Management Summit — Armorblox today announced
its new channel program: The Armorblox Partner Program. The new program
helps value-added resellers (VARS), value-added distributors (VADs) and
managed security services providers (MSSPs) bring the groundbreaking
Armorblox Natural Language Understanding (NLU) platform to its customers
to prevent and stop cybersecurity breaches that occur through employee
communications – including email phishing attempts, business email
compromise (BEC), accidental data disclosures, and insider threats.

The new tiered program is led by Brian Harmon – formerly Palo Alto
Networks, Agari, Palo Alto Networks, Trend Micro, and Illusive – who
joined Armorblox as SVP of sales and channel. It is designed to attract
and empower partners to help their clients keep up with increasingly
sophisticated and costly socially engineered attacks, such as email
phishing and BECs.

Communications have become the top attack vector for cybersecurity
breaches, with email as the most common point of entry, and traditional
security solutions are not catching these attacks. According to the
FBI’s Internet Crime Center (IC3) 2018 Internet Crime Report, BEC
continues to grow as the most costly category of internet fraud with
estimated losses hitting $1.2 billion.

Armorblox provides the world’s first context-aware, adaptive information
security platform that can analyze and reason about textual data in
organizations, across communications platforms. Using NLU, natural
language processing (NLP), deep learning, automation, and distributed
remediation, Armorblox can protect organizations from internal and
external threats across their communication channels at scale.

Already supporting 12 partners, Armorblox offers tiers of partnership
for VARs and VADs, providing support, training, and preferred pricing to
channel partners, while working alongside them to ensure customer
success:

  • Preferred Partners demonstrate a level of expertise and
commitment to Armorblox, evidenced by ongoing pipeline and opportunity
creation, product knowledge, and sales and SE certifications and reach
a minimum revenue threshold within their first year
  • Premier Partners achieve a higher revenue level and a
commitment to lead with Armorblox, becoming a strategic partner and
influencing the go to market plans, including consideration as a
    Partner Advisory Board member.

Armorblox is also announcing a tailored program for MSSPs. Selected
partners will be able to deploy the Armorblox SaaS offering to multiple
clients through a single Cluster Management Portal. This will
significantly simplify the management of real-time incident workflows
for an MSSP across multiple instances of Armorblox.

“By applying NLU to security, Armorblox is bringing organizations a
deeper level of understanding of the textual data shared across
different communications platforms,” said Tim McSherry, Managing Partner
for EverSec
Group, Inc
. “We are looking forward to offering this to our clients
as a new way to identify threats, lowering their risk of email attacks
and confidential data loss.”

“Email security and data protection are top priorities for our clients,
and we are committed to finding innovative solutions that solve their
biggest challenges,” said Steve Stumpfl, Executive Vice President of
Sales for Tevora.
“Armorblox’s application of Natural Language Understanding to
cybersecurity gives organizations the contextual awareness to identify
attacks that have been difficult to detect through traditional methods.”

“The Armorblox approach of applying NLU to cybersecurity is in demand
because it gives organizations a way to analyze textual data across
communications platforms and documents, detecting threats that other
solutions cannot catch,” said Brian Harmon, SVP of sales and channel for
Armorblox. “Our model of selling through channel partners will help us
more rapidly reach organizations who can benefit from our game-changing
technology.”
