threat detection, today announced that Brian Finch, a leading
cybersecurity regulation and government affairs advocate, has joined its
Advisory Board. Finch joins current board members, Lance
Spitzner

in providing Attivo Networks expert insights on cybersecurity
industry regulation, certifications, and the incorporation and
application of deception technology.

Brian Finch is a Pillsbury Public Policy partner and a recognized
thought leader for global security and cybersecurity threats. In his
advisory role at Attivo, Finch will leverage his experience as an
authority on legal and policy challenges associated with cybersecurity
to support the company’s strategic alignment with federal programs.
Specifically, he will focus on raising awareness of deception technology
for active cyber defense across federal legislative organizations in an
effort to impact cybersecurity policy and bolster federal requirements
around deception technology.

Finch has made it his mission to be a leading authority of the SAFETY

over 100 applications for such protections, including services ranging
from vulnerability assessments to security screening devices. In
addition to his current role, Finch is an advisor to the Homeland
Security and Defense Business Council and KnowCyber. He also regularly
contributes to the Wall Street Journal, The Hill, and many other
publications on today’s top cybersecurity challenges. Finch earned his
bachelor’s degree in policy analysis at Cornell University and his J.D.
and Master’s in Security Policy Studies from George Washington
University.
