Through a dealer’s Digital Motors powered online store, consumers can fully structure a vehicle transaction online. Digital Motors also offers the integration of accessory products (at the dealer-specified pricing) such as wheels, roof racks, and floor mats.

The result of this offering has been increased dealer profit during this unprecedented period of low inventory levels. On average, more than 60 percent of consumers using a Digital Motors powered online store add accessory products to their purchase for nearly $1,500 of value.

“Our goal is to provide dealers with a seamless online shopping environment that’s configured specific to each individual dealer,” explained Nicholas Stellman, Founder and COO of Digital Motors. “Our Accessories integration is experiencing a surge of interest as dealerships look for ways to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction during the current inventory situation.”

Digital Motors’ platform allows customers to do as much of the vehicle purchasing process online as they would like. The scalable and configurable platform transforms any dealer’s or manufacturer’s website into its own, uniquely branded and transactable store. Consumers can easily browse available inventory and create a deal that incorporates taxes and fees, trade-in value, incentives, and protection plans. The integration of dealer-configured accessory pricing allows the consumer to further tailor the transaction to their individual tastes.

“The traditional model for selling accessories can be challenging, especially when the Parts department is closed. Customers who build their car online generally do so with multiple accessories,” said Phillip Ruppert, General Manager of Browning Mazda. “Having an online Accessories tool that our customers and staff can access from anywhere, and at any time, helps us sell more with the limited inventory we have.”
