In this new role, Shroder will oversee the company’s strategy and execution, fundraising, business and corporate development as well as manage the firm’s Legal, HR, and Product & Technology functions. Most recently, Shroder held senior executive positions at Ant Group and Uber.

Brian Shroder Biography
During his nearly three years at Ant Group, Mr. Shroder focused on growing and expanding the company’s operations and global partnerships, ultimately bringing payments and financial services to the world’s unbanked and underbanked. He also oversaw Ant Group’s South East Asia operations, which comprised a portfolio of multiple fintech joint ventures which today accounts for over 100 million active users.
Prior to Ant Group, Mr. Shroder served for several years as Head of Strategy and Business Development for Uber in their Asia Pacific region. In this role, he focused on strategy, business development, corporate development, and fundraising for both Uber China and Uber Technologies entities. Shroder was also actively involved in managing Uber’s transition from a nascent startup into a fully regulated and compliant global operation. Previously, Mr. Shroder was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he spent six years.
Mr. Shroder is an angel investor and startup advisor. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and dual BS degrees in Accountancy and Management from Miami University.
