Digital experience company Acquia today announced that registration is open for Acquia Engage 2020, its first virtual, global conference on digital transformation. Kimberly Bryant, the founder and executive director of Black Girls Code, will keynote the event, sharing her story about opening doors to underrepresented voices and advocating for a better future for the tech industry. Held virtually on October 20-21, the conference will connect technology and marketing leaders worldwide to exchange strategies for digital transformation and the evolving customer experience. This year has presented unprecedented challenges and opportunities for organizations to transform their digital operations – both quickly and permanently. Acquia Engage will bring together hundreds of digital leaders to share business and technology strategies, and best-practices for success. Attendees will learn how innovative organizations across industries have used technology for good, and rapidly reshaped the customer experience for an ever-changing digital world.

Acquia executives presenting include CMO Lynne Capozzi, CEO Michael Sullivan, and Co-founder and CTO, as well as Drupal Founder and Project Lead Dries Buytaert. These executives will highlight the latest innovations in Acquia’s Open Digital Experience Platform – including new capabilities for marketers, developers, and content creators. In addition, Acquia will unveil the results of its third annual survey on the state of the global digital experience, which analyzes the impact 2020 has made on both marketers and consumers.

“The new Acquia Engage virtual format unlocks an opportunity to learn from a global audience of digital leaders,” said Capozzi. “Open digital experiences represent a world without borders, where people are free to connect and share ideas at global scale. We’re excited to welcome attendees from six continents to exchange stories of digital resilience – especially now that digital transformation has escalated on most organizations’ priority lists.”

This year’s streamlined program offers more insights and ideas, so attendees can maximize their time and customize the experience to their interests. Engage will feature three session tracks with 22 Marketing Cloud and Drupal Cloud sessions that span all aspects of the digital experience. Each day of Engage will showcase customer-led panels, partner sessions, presentations and fireside chats from brands such as Lids, UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), American Federation For the Blind, Epilepsy Foundation, Sun & Ski, Serena & Lily, Leidos, East Tennessee State University, AMD, and more. These organizations will share their insight into digital developments impacting customer experience across all industries – from B2B technology, to finance, to retail and much more.

“Acquia Engage is always a must-attend event to connect with peers and learn about the latest digital experience trends,” said Tanner Gers, Business Development Lead, American Federation For The Blind. “This year, we’re looking forward to hearing from other organizations like ours that have taken on a variety of challenges, using their creativity and ingenuity to make the world a better place.”
