CAI, a leading business technology services firm, announces Steven Heilenman is named Enterprise Finalist for the ORBIE® Award, a prestigious annual award recognizing innovative CIOs across Philadelphia. Heilenman, leader of CAI’s IT Operations, and global solution centers in the U.S., Philippines, and India and CAI’s burgeoning Security Operations team, was recognized for his ability to innovate, lead internal teams and deliver business outcomes that impact CAI and its clients.

ORBIE honors chief information officers who demonstrate excellence in technology leadership. Finalists and winners are selected by an independent peer review process, led by prior ORBIE recipients, based on:

  • Leadership and management effectiveness
  • Business value created by technology innovation
  • Size and scope of responsibilities
  • Engagement in industry and community endeavors

“I was thrilled to be among the other exceptional leaders being recognized by the ORBIE Awards program,” said Heilenman. “My successes at CAI are the result of a great team of creative, hard-working and dedicated people. They are the secret to what we do – and what I’m most proud of. To get to work in cutting-edge technology that helps push our organization forward is icing on the top.”

“I extend my heartiest congratulations to Steve and the entire CAI team for this well-earned recognition,” said Tony Salvaggio, CAI’s Chief Executive Officer. “Steve is an invaluable leader at CAI and is essential to our firm’s strategy development and program execution. On top of managing all technology systems, cyber-security strategy and software and operational activities for our firm, he is responsible for leadership and management of CAI’s key software product development. I have not met a CIO I respect or trust more than Steve. He is very deserving of this recognition.”

The CIO of the Year® ORBIE® Awards is a premier technology executive recognition program recognizing CIOs in six key categories – Leadership, Global, Large Enterprise, Enterprise, Corporate and Healthcare. Since its inception in 1998, over 800 CIOs have been honored as finalists and more than 200 CIO of the Year winners have received the prestigious ORBIE Award.
