third-party maintenance (TPM) and high-end data storage for enterprises,
today named experienced IT industry executive Dan Newton as its new
Chief Executive Officer.

With over 15 years of managed services and enterprise technology
experience, Newton has delivered leading-edge IT solutions to some of
the most recognized brands in the world. As CEO, Newton will focus on
growing and diversifying CDS’ service offerings and customer base and

of New State Capital Partners. “Dan’s experience working with SMB’s to
Fortune 100 businesses and his understanding of the entire data center

strategies – directly answers the needs of our customers. His experience
and leadership will help guide CDS into its next phase of delivering
solutions that help enterprises optimize their infrastructure and get
the most value out of their data center.”

Newton joins CDS from HiveIO, a developer of intelligent virtualization
technology, where he served as CEO. Prior to HiveIO, Newton was Chief
Operating Officer for the managed services company Datapipe, supporting
customers globally in over 20 data centers and across private and public
cloud solutions. Datapipe was acquired by Rackspace, where Newton served
as GM and SVP of Service Delivery. Newton has also held key leadership
roles with Dell and Perot Systems.

“I am very excited to join CDS and its incredible leadership team,” said
Dan Newton, CEO of CDS. “In addition to CDS’ impressive mix of
enterprise-level data center system expertise, support, and global
delivery capabilities, they have fostered industry-leading partnerships
that drive value for customers. As the TPM market grows in value, we
have a unique opportunity to deliver world-class service to global
customers and to push the envelope with new, differentiated services.”

service providers to deliver installation, implementation, support,
