Cebu Pacific has renewed its agreement with Navitaire, an Amadeus company. Under the terms of the contract, Cebu Pacific will use Navitaire’s advanced reservations, ancillary and revenue accounting platforms, including its diverse digital, merchandising and distribution capabilities, through 2028.

The contract renewal between Navitaire and Cebu Pacific builds on a decade-long partnership. During this period, Cebu Pacific has grown dramatically, carrying over 20 million annual passengers in 2018 and reaching the 150 million mark since its launch. The airline also has a remarkable 10-year track record of profitability and revenue growth, bolstered by its strong ancillary revenue generation results of 20%.

Cebu Pacific has used its low fare, great value strategy to develop a vibrant brand personifying affordable travel accessible to all. The carrier is known for its creative ancillary offers available across its digital channels, which are powered by Navitaire solutions. Cebu Pacific remains committed to enabling innovation and excellence across the travel experience.

The airline will also leverage Navitaire’s solutions, including the New Skies® digital reservations platform, as it expects to further expand its domestic and international footprint with the delivery of 30 aircraft on order. The carrier recently announced plans to grow its hubs at Cebu and Clark airports, as well as increase its North Asia services to China, Korea and Japan.

“Navitaire has been an integral partner in our growth over the past ten years, offering solutions that have helped us gain flexibility and agility with digital tools and ancillary services. We look forward to future capabilities we can build with them to help fulfill our growth plans,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Distribution of Cebu Pacific.

“Cebu Pacific has achieved an impressive history of success, demonstrating its agility as a dynamic market leader,” said David P. Evans, Navitaire CEO. “Our next generation digital, retailing and optimization capabilities provide a springboard to enable its inventive ideas and to tap opportunities that support Cebu Pacific’s growth plans. We look forward to our next decade of partnership.”

Its New Skies® reservations system is a digital, “e-commerce first” platform with comprehensive retailing, analytics and passenger personalization tools. The solution is designed for efficiency utilizing a single record approach, which manages both the offer and the order throughout the passenger lifecycle.
