Cincinnati Bell (CBB) and CBTS have been selected as a Shorty Social Good Award Finalist in the Best Use of Imagery category. The award submission is a result of the efforts of the company’s leaders and employees who participated in Pride, including building a seven story Post-it Note art installation, lighting up company headquarters in Pride colors, and marching in the Pride Parade.

The Shorty Social Good Awards honor the social good initiatives brands, agencies, and nonprofits are taking to make our world a better place. While the Shorty Awards have long honored the best of social media, this competition includes efforts made by organizations to improve sustainability and diversity internally, foster globally-minded business partnerships, and increase employee community and civic engagement.

Finalists were selected by members of the Real Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences, comprised of luminaries from advertising, media, entertainment and technology. The group includes Ogilvy Vice President of Social Change Kate Hull Fliflet, Matchfire Founder and CEO Chris Noble, Former White House Creative Director and Digital Strategist Ashleigh Axios, and ATTN: Partner Brad Haugen. Social Good Award winners will be announced and honored at the ceremony on Thursday, November 14th, in New York City.

“My job is to build an environment that helps bring the best out of employees. And I believe employees perform at their best when they know they can be themselves,” said Leigh Fox, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell. “We are working hard to sustain an inclusive culture at Cincinnati Bell that allows employees to bring their full selves to work. I am thrilled that the Shorty Social Good Awards have recognized the efforts of our employees and our Pride Employee Resource Group members, friends, and families.”
