Computer Design & Integration LLC (“CDI” or “the Company”) announced today that Jason Kalvesmaki has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Core Sales. In this capacity, he will be responsible for increasing revenue and leading sales initiatives to support growth, national expansion, and deliver added value to customers.
The promotion comes amidst significant business and financial growth for CDI. Earlier this year the Company entered into a strategic partnership with One Equity Partners (“OEP”) and most recently acquired Plan B Technologies, Inc. (“PBT”).
He will also be tasked with developing and executing go-to-market strategies, recruiting and cultivating top-tier sales and technical talent, growing advanced services revenue streams and managing CDI’s expanding vendor relationships.
“Jason’s pedigree, client-first mentality and strong track record of exceeding revenue expectations made him an obvious choice to lead our sales team,” said Rich Falcone, President, CDI. “He is a true visionary and leader that has played an integral role in providing our customers with the solutions they need to maintain a competitive business edge. His proven expertise will be vital as CDI continues its expansion and we look forward to seeing him excel in this new position.”
Kalvesmaki joined CDI in 2012 as a Senior Account Executive, was promoted to Associate Vice President of Sales in 2016 and has served as Vice President of Sales since 2018. His key achievements include building the Company’s enterprise sales go-to-market strategy, strengthening its focus on managed software-defined-x, and pioneering value for CDI’s Zero Touch Operations (ZTO), which helps clients build a foundation for digital business and operate multi-cloud infrastructures.
“It is an incredibly exciting time for CDI as we continue to scale, and client engagement has never been better,” added Kalvesmaki. “Our ability to architect, design and integrate technologies that fuel innovation are true differentiators for our clients and partners, as they navigate the automated, software-defined, multi-cloud world. I welcome the opportunity to move into this new role and lead CDI into its next phase.”
Kalvesmaki is a proven technology leader with two decades of experience. Prior to joining CDI, he held several sales and management positions at industry-leading organizations, including Dell Technologies (formerly Dell EMC, EMC) and Vertica Systems. He is a proud University of Pittsburgh graduate with a B.S. in Information Science, a minor in Computer Science, and separately, holds a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
