Crowd Machine, the leading provider of PaaS solutions for cross-cloud integration of enterprise applications with rapid no-code development, has completed a record milestone year for the company, with the market beta launch of its core appdev GO technology, announcing key partnerships and strategically investing into the growth of the team and vision.

“The past year has marked success for us on all fronts,” said James Hanley, who was named CEO in 2019 after serving as Chief Operating Officer. “Independent software vendors and systems integrators, for example, are finding our GO platform to be the answer to their customers’ need to deliver new applications to the marketplace much faster. On the company front we’ve rebalanced budgets and prioritized investments, resulting in departmental cost reduction and redirecting our spending toward areas of strategic importance such as enhancing our partner ecosystem and research and development teams–all destined to grow Crowd Machine at a fast trajectory in 2020 and beyond.”

Crowd Machine GO beta

Crowd Machine offers a unified cloud platform for integrating intelligent applications, microservices and legacy data into an intuitive, easy-to-manage platform. The technology is already enabling organizations to develop applications and microservices with its GO Gadgets – components that can be quickly assembled for specific business needs.

Partner Ecosystem

Crowd Machine launched its partner alliance initiative recently with the announcement of a strategic partnership with independent software vendor (ISV) Optimum. It enables the company to build custom applications for its customers, using Crowd Machine’s platform. “The GO Gadget technology is an extremely powerful tool for us to be able to design very targeted applications, without extra burdening of IT staff,” said Nooshin Yazhari, Managing Principal, Optimum.

The company is also working with systems integrators to explore new opportunities for using Crowd Machine to develop cloud-native applications for their customers. “Crowd Machine technology is the result of years of success as a systems integrator. You could say it’s in our DNA so we understand the need to find innovative solutions that can integrate into an existing environment and support business growth,” said Hanley.

Company Growth

This past year Crowd Machine grew its own footprint, adding strategic staff at two locations and announcing promotions. In October the company elevated Hanley to CEO and announced founder and CEO Craig Sproule would be taking on the new position of Chairman, from which he will continue to lead the company’s visionary technology innovation.

The company added engineering staff to its new Portland, Oregon office to focus on innovations and market entry of new GO powered application solutions.

Crowd Machine also hired Allison Darin as Director of Marketing and Communications. Darin has extensive experience in marcom management for early stage and technology companies.

To drive client acquisition and market growth going forward, the company announced EVP Cory Phillips has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer and will manage sales, partner acquisition and management, and application development services. Additional investments in a Sales Manager & Sales Engineer are expected to close in December.

Kimberly Whitfield has been promoted to Director of Business Development with renewed focus on partner acquisition and management, and new client acquisition.

Year Ahead

“Going into 2020, we will expand the partner ecosystem, continue to bring new GO innovations to market and help enterprise customers to fulfill their vision of digital transformation,” said Hanley.
