At its meeting on Sept. 18, 2019, the board of directors for Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end fintech and regtech solutions, elected Dana Bowers as its newest member.

With more than 30 years of expertise in launching and leading fintech companies, Bowers brings a depth of leadership experience in payments, strategic planning, business development, revenue generation and product development. She currently serves as chief solution architect for Venminder, Inc., a leading provider of software and due diligence services for managing compliance with third-party vendors; Bowers founded the company in 2013. Previously, she founded and served 10 years as chief executive officer of iPay Technologies, which provides bill payment services within the financial services industry.

“As the pace of change continues to accelerate within the fintech industry, we realize the value that a leader of Dana’s caliber brings to our board,” said Steve Powless, CSI’s chairman and chief executive officer. “She possesses not only a creative entrepreneurial spirit that’s grounded in payments and compliance–two tremendous focus areas for financial institutions today–but also a proven track record of strategic leadership.”

Bowers was named an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in its technology category in 2009, and she was inducted into the Kentucky Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2010. She also currently sits on the board for the University of Louisville College of Business and previously served as a judge for the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

“Having watched CSI’s growth and evolution in the fintech industry throughout my career, I am beyond thrilled to join the board of directors,” Bowers said. “CSI has a proven history of both innovation and service, and I look forward to working with its leadership team to build upon the company’s many successes.”

Bowers has been elected to serve a three-year term on the board.
