His career experience includes companies such as MCI (now Verizon), Alcatel-Lucent (now Nokia) and Meridian Technologies/Semele Data.

Kiernan holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and marketing from Old Dominion University and an executive certificate in business administration from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame.
