Dooap,
a leading Accounts Payable (AP) automation provider for Microsoft
Dynamics
environments, today announced that it has appointed
software industry veteran Mikko Hytönen as its new CEO to lead the
company in its next phase of growth. To keep pace with its expansion,
the company is also moving its headquarters from New York to Austin,
Texas, a growing technology hub.

Hytönen succeeds Antti Kosunen, co-founder of Dooap and its parent
company Efima, who will be directing Dooap’s business development.

“We are delighted that Mikko is joining Dooap as CEO. He has
demonstrated strategic leadership and vision, helping software firms
increase their market share and revenue through innovative solutions
that meet key business needs, and we’re confident that he will do the
same for Dooap,” said Kosunen. “With Mikko leading our expansion across
the U.S. from new headquarters in Austin, a growing hotbed for
technology innovation, we’re looking forward to drawing upon an
innovative and experienced talent base and strategic partnership
opportunities to build upon the growing market demand for AP automation.”

Hytönen brings 20 years of leadership experience through a
variety of executive management and finance roles in the software
industry, and has a proven track record in growing companies of all
sizes. In his new role, he will be responsible for overall strategy and
operations, including expanding the Dooap team, growing the customer
base, and continuing to develop technology and services to address
customer demand.

“I’m very excited to be joining the team at a startup that is
well-positioned for growth in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem,” said
Hytönen. “Dooap has everything it needs to succeed – talented and
motivated people, a growing customer base, and scalable, user-friendly
technology that meets the needs of today’s AP department. We are seeing
great opportunity for AP automation in North America as companies look
to gain more visibility and control over their AP operations. We have
chosen Austin as our U.S. headquarters because of its dynamic tech
environment, and we are looking forward to expanding our team there
significantly in the months to come.”

Prior to joining Dooap, Hytönen served as CEO at two software companies
that he grew and were later acquired: Toimitori; and Enoro Group, where
he also served as CFO. Previously, Hytönen served as CFO of Comptel
Corporation and was the finance director for Electrolux and SmartTrust
Group. Hytönen holds a Master of Science (Technology) degree in
mechanical engineering and industrial management from the Helsinki
University of Technology in Finland.
