DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) today announced continued strengthening of its leadership team with the appointment of David Swift as vice president, client account management, in the company’s Americas region.

Swift will report to Ed Ho, DXC’s regional head for Americas. He will join the company on Dec. 2.

Today’s appointment continues the company’s progress in augmenting its leadership team. Since Mike Salvino was named DXC’s president and CEO last month, the company now has made five appointments to address his key priorities of clients, people and operational execution.

Swift’s focus will be ensuring that DXC brings Americas clients the highest levels of customer care and responsiveness. Swift will use a program of client reviews to ensure that DXC is listening and intimately connecting with critical client priorities. A key goal will be to bring a renewed sense of partnership and responsiveness to clients in the region.

“I’m pleased to have a professional like David joining the team at DXC,” Salvino said. “The Americas region is our largest and is vitally important as we execute our growth agenda. With this appointment, we’re continuing to put our focus and resources on enhancing service to our clients.”

Swift previously served as chief service officer at Accolade, a provider of personalized health and benefits solutions. He led delivery of Accolade’s services to clients and customers, with a focus on delivering high standards of quality, value creation and unit economics during a period of strong growth for the company. Swift worked with the company’s largest and most strategic customers, leading a team of high-touch member-service resources.

Prior to Accolade, Swift served as an executive vice president at Aon Hewitt, leading the Outsourcing business unit and, later, the Innovation function. He also was a consulting manager at Accenture.

Swift holds a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from Clemson University.
