Dynasty Financial Partners today announced that it has hired Joseph D’Agostino as Head of Strategic Development. Mr. D’Agostino will be based in St. Petersburg, Florida and report directly to Dynasty President & CEO, Shirl Penney. In his role as Head of Strategic Development, Mr. D’Agostino will work across the organization to align Dynasty’s long-term strategy with that of its clients, and in doing so help Dynasty and its clients accelerate the growth of enterprise value through utilization of the firm’s technology platforms, investment offerings and capital solutions. He will also work with Dynasty’s clients to innovate and develop additional resources they need to meet the growing needs of their clients and businesses. Mr. D’Agostino will also help advance Dynasty’s Advisor-to-CEO program, which aims to give Network advisors the tools and training to evolve as leaders and CEOs of their growing businesses. Mr. D’Agostino joins Dynasty Financial Partners from WestEnd Advisors, an independent institutional asset management firm, where he was Chief Operating Officer.

Biography of Mr. D’Agostino
Joseph N. D’Agostino has over 35 years of experience in financial services. For most of his career, Mr. D’Agostino served in a series of roles of increasing responsibility at Morgan Stanley-Smith Barney and predecessor firms. He launched his career as a financial advisor and was then a branch manager in three different office locations and regions. Following his time in the field, Mr. D’Agostino built the team that launched the industry’s first rep-as-advisor platform and then led the investment products division, where he collaborated with the industry’s leading asset managers and insurance companies to design and deliver best-in-class investment solutions for the firm’s financial advisors. In 2012, Mr. D’Agostino moved to the investment management side of the industry when he joined American Century Investments to lead business development and distribution strategy. Most recently, he was Chief Operating Officer at WestEnd Advisors, an independent institutional asset management firm.
Mr. D’Agostino received his BA from the College of the Holy Cross and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Kitty, and they will be relocating to St. Petersburg, FL, to where Dynasty moved its headquarters in 2019.
