Dynasty
Sports and Entertainment
today announced a major expansion of its
ticketing and services operations for the concert ticket industry and
the appointment of Schuyler Hoversten as the company’s President of
Music. Dynasty Sports & Entertainment is a technology and services
provider that helps content holders automate the pricing, distribution
and fulfillment of more than $3 billion in tickets through primary and
secondary exchanges annually. The company is committed to promoting full
collaboration between artists, venues, and fans. Dynasty turns secondary
exchanges into primary box offices, selling tickets directly where the
buyers shop.

Hoversten most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer of LiveXLive
Media, (NASDAQ: LIVX) a global digital media company dedicated to live
entertainment. Prior to LiveXLive, he was the co-owner and inaugural
president of LA KISS pro arena football team with rock legends Gene
Simmons and Paul Stanley, overseeing sponsorship, ticketing,
merchandise, marketing and game entertainment initiatives. He previously
oversaw business development for the Los
Angeles Dodgers
for four years.

Industry dynamics have historically opened the door for ticket resellers
to compete directly with rights holders for the sale of concert tickets,
reducing revenue for rights holders and damaging the fan experience.
Dynasty’s revolutionary suite of services and technology eliminates
these challenges by creating an experience that benefits all parties,
maximizing revenues and creating a positive fan experience for music
fans. Dynasty’s platform is particularly impactful in the weeks leading
up to an event when resellers often undercut the box office and compete
directly with rights holders.

“Dynasty is a powerhouse in the sports ticketing world, and I am excited
about the potential to bring our technology and know-how to the music
industry,” Hoversten said. “Dynasty’s technology and services are used
by the majority of primary and secondary exchanges in the U.S., and we
feel that the concert industry is a natural fit for the company as we
continue to evolve and grow.”

“The summer concert season is extremely important. Every year, 52% of
the U.S. population attends a live music event, which is why this is the
perfect time for Schuyler to join us as we roll out the music side of
our business,” according to Dynasty CEO Cole Rubin. “With Schuyler
running our music division, we anticipate working with artists this
summer to help them sell more tickets directly to their fans.”
